Amy Yassinger is a versatile vocalist from Chicago who specializes in performing Jazz, R&B, and Pop music.  She found her love for Jazz and Pop music when she studied at the Berklee College of Music briefly before heading to the University of Miami to pursue her BM in Studio Music and Jazz.  She continued to Western Michigan University to complete her MM in Jazz Studies.  She was a member of Jazz Vocal I at the University of Miami and Gold Company at Western Michigan University.  As a member of the two Vocal Jazz ensembles, she developed a passion for singing fantastic arrangements of Ward Swingle and Gene Puerling. 

Since moving back to Chicago in 2008, Amy performs with various bands in and around the Chicagoland area at many different venues such as Navy Pier and the Shedd Aquarium. You can see her at Jazz Clubs, restaurants, bars, weddings and private events. When she is not performing, she is teaching private voice lessons at New Trier High School, Naperville North High School and the Buffalo Grove Park District.
